KRIS KITTELSON
Veteran actor KRIS KITTELSON is happy to be playing Sergeant Towers in See How They Run. “It’s nice to be on for just a few pages, instead of almost the entire show, as I was in You Can't Take it with You,” he says. But, he acknowledges “Playing Grandpa in that show (at Civic) last season was a great experience.” Kris has fifty or so years of acting credits to his name, including Lord Summerhays in Misalliance at Firth Chew Studio Theatre, Dr. Chumley in Harvey at Ignite, Elwood in Harvey at EWU, ensemble work in The Good Doctor at Spokane Civic Theatre as well as playing Chekov/Narrator in same show at Woodland Theatre in Kettle Falls, and Nathan Detroit in the musical Guys and Dolls, also at Woodland Theatre. So, does he ever find time for other pursuits? “I'm an avid, though not particularly talented, golfer,” Kris admits, “and, a considerably more talented computer programmer (for 35 years). My wife (actress Marty Kittelson) has the real talent in the family.”
